Houston Supercross report

The crowd of almost 54,000 fans in Houston were given an incredible evening of racing. Ryan Villopoto and Chad Reed shot out of the gate 1-2 and a great battle was underway. The two riders pulled out to an 8 second lead before Chad Reed went over the bars. Chad was taken off of the track by the Asterisk Mobile Medic unit with a knee injury. Here’s hoping Chad recovers rapidly.
Villopoto went on to win the race and Ryan Dungey finished 2nd after a last lap pass on Jake Weimer. Dungey came from 19th to grab 2nd. Ironclad backed Kyle Chisholm on the DNA Energy/Jeff Ward Racing Kawasaki came home in 10th. This is Kyle’s second top 10 finish in a row and he now sits 12th in the series points.
