Oakland Supercross Report
Oakland, CA
The Supercross.com Honda of Andrew Short was on fire this weekend. The Ironclad backed-Andrew Short raced up front all night. He kept the lead group of Stewart/Reed/Dungey within his sights for the better part of the race. Dungey got by Shorty around the halfway point, relegating him to 5th place. Short rode a consistent race and crossed the checkers just 3.7 seconds behind series points leader Ryan Dungey.
The DNA Energy/Jeff Ward Racing team of Kyle Chisholm and Cody Mackie (who is filling in for the injured Josh Grant) had a good weekend as well. Kyle came home in 12th, while Australian Cody Mackie qualified for his first Supercross main event through the heat race and finished the race in 16th place just behind Nick Wey. The series heads south to Anaheim, CA this weekend.
