Round two of the 2012 Monster Energy Supercross season is in the books.

The Ironclad-backed Supercross.com Honda of Andrew Short once again proved that his speed is there by finishing 6th in the Main Event. The DNA Energy/Jeff Ward racing Kawasaki of Kyle Chisholm came home in 12th.

This event was amazing for the fans. Series points leader Ryan Villopoto crashed on the first lap and came across in last place on the first lap. Meanwhile, Ryan Dungey was out front-on cruise control while the carnage continued behind him.

Dungey crossed the finish line with the win. This was KTM’s first Supercross win in the 450 class. Ryan Villopoto clawed his way through the pack, making a last lap pass on fan-favorite Kevin Windham for 3rd place. The two Ryan’s are now tied in points when the series heads back to Dodger’s stadium in Los Angeles this weekend.
