Supercross A1 Wrapped Up!

The 2012 Monster Energy Supercross season opened with a bang! Ryan Villopoto dominated the opener with a wire to wire victory. While RV was hammering out front: Chad Reed, Ryan Dungey and James Stewart provided all the intense action that the sold out crowd wanted to see. While these three were battling for the 2nd position, each rider ended up sampling the soil. Reed came out on top with a 2nd place finish. Dungey came home in third, while Stewart salvaged a 6th place finish.
Supercross.com/Honda’s Andrew Short (whose team is sponsored by Ironclad) didn’t get the start he wanted. He ran a consistent race and ended up finishing in 7th behind Stewart. The Ironclad-backed Jeff Ward Racing/DNA Energy duo of Kyle Chisholm and Josh Grant finished 14th and 19th in the main event. Grant suffered from two gnarly crashes but was fortunate to come away from Anaheim healthy. Both of the Ironclad sponsored teams are healthy and ready for Phoenix on January 14th, 2012.
