AIRPRENE
Similar to Neoprene but lighter and breathable, this material is used for additional support or impact protection in areas where lightweight breathability is required in addition to flexibility
ARMORFLEX™
This fabric combines flexibility with high abrasion resistance. ArmorFlex™ is used on finger sidewalls in our Icon® professional gloves and the shell of our Gore-Tex® Tundra®.
BULLWHIP® LEATHER
Leather gloves will never be the same. This revolutionary leather is tough, durable, and comfortable, yet completely washable - it won’t shrink, stretch or harden after repeated washings.
CONTOURGRIPT
Ironclad’s patented palm pattern used on vibration impact gloves. Jointed 3D palm geometry ensures a solid, comfortable grip on tools, while 100% silicone pads absorb impact forces from pneumatic vibrating tools.
COMBO CUFF®
The protection and comfort of a slip-fit cuff with the secure fit of a hook and loop closure.
DIAMONDCLAD™
Silicone is fused to the synthetic leather palm and fingers of gloves like the Box Handler® and Gripworx® in an Ironclad-exclusive process. Diamonclad® ensures a non-slip grip on smooth surfaces such as glass, cardboard, metal, wood and plastic.
DUPONT™ KEVLAR®
Kevlar fiber, pound for pound one of the strongest materials known to man, can be found in applications such as bulletproof vests. Five times stronger than its equal in steel, Kevlar® is blended into reinforcements on many Ironclad gloves, and is also used extensively for its resistance to heat and cutting in our Heatworx® line.
DUPONT™ TEFLON®
DuPont Teflon, used for everything from non-stick cooking surfaces to critical aerospace coatings, is known for its amazing resistance to adhesion. Ironclad has developed a process that treats our synthetic leather blends with Teflon to give them exceptional oil, water and heat resistance.
EDG® TECHNOLOGY
Invented and patented by Ironclad. EDG® technology is a three dimensional, molded rubber palm that provides extreme grip and durability. Found exclusively on the Extreme glove and targeted for future glove development.
HOTSHIELD®
Used exclusively on Ironclad’s new Heatworx® gloves, Hotshield® is a patent pending fabric that has the look, feel and durability of leather, yet is shrink and heat resistant and repels water and oil.
IBREATHE® STRETCH MESH
iBreathe stretch mesh is engineered to wick away sweat, stretch to fit and stay cool and comfortable all day long. Exclusively on the Mach 5® glove.
